TeeStats is currently available on iPhone (iOS 16+). An Android version is in active development — join the waitlist via the contact form and we'll notify you the day it launches.

After you finish a round, TeeStats sends your hole-by-hole scores (including pars, yardages, and stroke indices) to Google's Gemini AI. Gemini returns a personalised analysis: a round headline, your key strength, one area to improve, a concrete drill for the week, and an estimated calorie burn based on course length and duration.

Before teeing off, tap "Invite Friends" and select up to 3 contacts from your TeeStats friend list. They receive an instant push notification to join your round. Each player scores independently on their own device — no sharing required. When everyone finishes, a shared results screen ranks the group.

When TeeStats can't find hole data for a course, an "Upload Scorecard" prompt appears automatically. Just snap a photo of the paper scorecard — Gemini Vision reads all 18 holes (par, yardage, stroke index, course rating, slope) in about 2 seconds. The course is then saved to our community database so future golfers don't need to upload it again.

Your personal round data (scores, stats, handicap history) is private and only visible to you and friends you explicitly add. Course data uploaded via scorecard OCR is shared anonymously with the community to improve the database. We never sell personal data.

Yes — once a round is started and hole data is loaded, scoring works fully offline. Your scores sync to the cloud automatically when you regain a connection. AI summaries and multiplayer features do require an internet connection.

TeeStats uses the USGA Handicap System formula. After each round, a Score Differential is calculated using your gross score, course rating, and slope rating. Your handicap index is the average of the best 8 Score Differentials from your last 20 rounds, multiplied by 0.96.
